All things considered a good day
I really enjoyed the seminar I had Thursday. The seminar provided more information than I had expected. I had to send a thank you to the company to allow me to attend it. It was a Grammar free – Proofreading, Fred Pryor seminar. So I am in hopes my blog writing will also be of some improvements as well. : )
Thursday evening and night my poor wife was still having a serious headache. She went to bed early in hopes to get rid of it. I was thinking she was starting a migraine. She doesn’t have many of them, but when she does have one it is normally a doozy.
Early Friday morning the kids and I took her to a Promed (Doc in a box ). She was nearly in tears at one point. No. It’s not a hemorrhage. However, the Doc did say she had a serious throat infection and found it a wonder she could swallow. Kelli responded to the Doc as saying her throat wasn’t bothering her at all, compared to the headache. According to the Doc the headache was due to the infection. So she got two shots in the butt and 2 prescriptions for good measure. Once we finally were able to get the meds we headed home. I was unable to get a movie for tonight but the kids found 2 movies at Wal-Mart as we waited for the scripts to be filled. Our son grabbed a Pokemon cartoon and our daughter grabbed a Hello Kitty.
Kelli went to bed when we came back home and stayed there all day with the exception of eating a little. Other than that I hadn’t seen much of her. I played with the kids all day. I also managed to keep the laundry and dishes clean. I must say I enjoyed my day with the kids. It was a treat for the three of us to play all day.
It’s nearly 10 p.m. already and I am beat. I can’t believe I am already tired, but I have to say I am.
One good note is both kids seem to be getting over their bugs. Only a cough here and there for our son, and our daughter seems to be all well now. Go figure.
